National Detail Systems offers a genuine 24K gold plating service for automobile emblems, bezels, grills, tail pipes and license plates. This system uses a state-of-the-art electro-brush plating process. The system is completely mobile, versatile, simple to use and extremely profitable. Most importantly, it is designed to gold plate chrome automobile emblems and accessories while they are still on the vehicle! Is it Easy To Use? Our system is very unique. The process has been used in the aerospace and computer circuit board industry for many years. A specially designed power pack provides a negative charge to the work piece, while positive charged anodes activate and gold plate the piece utilizing state of the art solutions. The finished product is molecularly bonded with 24K gold plating. What Metals Can be Plated? As shipped the system is equipped and stocked to electroplate gold onto chrome. However, additional plating solutions are available to enable plating on total of 14 metals, including chrome, silver, stainless steel, copper and brass. How thick is the Gold? Our process deposits a minimum of 20-30 millionths of an inch of 99.98% pure gold. 0.02% cobalt is added for hardness. Tank dipping conventionally results in gold thicknesses of 10 millionths of an inch or less. How Long will the gold last? With this process the plating generally lasts a minimum of three years. Environmental circumstances such as road salt, acid rain and/or owner neglect can shorten the life of any exterior gold plating. What is the Profit Potential? Using 4 emblems as an example....
